A 32-year-old man from Gävle has been arrested and is facing serious legal charges related to the sexual abuse of minors. For five years, he allegedly posed as a boy of a similar age to solicit girls aged 9 to 14 on Snapchat. According to prosecutor Mattias Vilhelmsson, the man manipulated these young girls into sharing explicit content and even coerced them into performing sexual acts on themselves, which constitutes child rape under Swedish law.

Despite being arrested previously, the man continued his predatory behavior, leading to an extensive investigation into his online activities. The charges against him include 50 counts of child rape, at least 28 counts of child pornography, and 21 counts of gross exploitation of children for sexual posing.
