The first 127 Italians return from Oman: including Crosetto's family
The first repatriation flight carrying 127 Italians stranded in Oman amid regional conflict has landed in Fiumicino, with one of the passengers being the family of Italian Defense Minister Crosetto.
In the wake of escalating conflict in the Middle East, the first charter flight repatriating 127 Italians from Oman has successfully landed at Fiumicino Airport. This operation was coordinated by the Italian Foreign Ministry and embassies in both Abu Dhabi and Muscat. The flight, operated by Oman Air, signified a crucial response to aid citizens trapped in the region following the onset of hostilities. Among those evacuated were the wife and children of Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, who had previously returned to Italy on a government flight while his family remained behind.
