The Ecuadorian Navy has initiated the recruitment process for candidates interested in joining its ranks as crew members or marines. A total of 450 positions have been set aside for individuals wishing to enter the Escuela de Grumetes "Contramaestre Juan Suárez" or the Escuela de Infantería de Marina in Ecuador. Interested applicants can register through provided links, with a deadline approaching in early March.
Candidates accepted into the Escuela de Grumetes in Salinas will undergo a two-year training program, culminating in graduation as sailors. They will earn a degree as a technologist in Naval Sciences, specializing in areas such as electricity and electronics. Upon completing their professional education, they may qualify for the rank of senior non-commissioned officer, enhancing their career prospects within the naval forces.
Meanwhile, the Escuela de Infantería de Marina in Guayaquil will train young recruits as special forces, allowing them to participate in advanced courses, including parachuting and scuba diving.
