Firefighters successfully extinguished a fire that had engulfed a car on the MGC-451 highway in Olhos D' Água, Brazil, on the evening of Sunday, October 1st. Upon their arrival at the scene, the vehicle was already fully engulfed in flames, producing intense heat and smoke that necessitated a rapid response to ensure safety. The firefighters secured the area and closed the highway in both directions to effectively combat the fire.

The firefighting team deployed approximately 2,000 liters of water in their efforts to completely extinguish the blaze. Fortunately, the vehicle's occupants, the driver and a passenger, managed to escape without injury. The driver reported that he first noticed smoke coming from under the hood, followed by the ignition of flames. Acting quickly, he pulled the car over to the side of the highway and both occupants exited the vehicle safely before the fire could spread further.
