Cho Kuk: ‘What is most needed is self-strengthening... Only with self-strengthening can there be solidarity and victory’

Cho Kuk, leader of the Justice Party, emphasized the importance of self-strengthening for achieving solidarity and victory during his speech at the party's second anniversary event.

At the two-year anniversary celebration of the Justice Party, Cho Kuk underscored that the most pressing need for the party is to become self-strong, asserting that strength and unity are vital for achieving political objectives. He warned that division and weakness would lead to a lack of political attention from the public. Cho suggested that only through self-strengthening can the party pursue coalition and integration efforts, as well as secure a brighter future.

Cho also addressed the challenges currently facing his party, advocating for a rapid political reform to enhance diversity in politics. He proposed that the party should also focus on economic reforms to alleviate inequalities, which he believes are essential for sustainable growth. Additionally, he stated that the party aims to support a government that reflects the will of the people, emphasizing that the party will prioritize the nation’s success over political strategies.

Lastly, he criticized the current misuse of terms like freedom, law, order, and patriotism, claiming they have been tainted by extremist groups. He expressed the intention of his party to restore the original meanings of these words and eliminate far-right elements misusing the concept of patriotism. Cho concluded by stressing that the future of the nation rests in their own hands and that recent elections will serve as a crucial test of their commitment to these reformative goals.
