Mikser: The USA and Israel do not want to deploy ground troops in Iran

Sven Mikser stated that neither the United States nor Israel have the political will to deploy ground troops in Iran.

Sven Mikser, a member of the Social Democratic Party, expressed on "Terevisioon" that the United States and Israel lack the political will to place their ground forces in Iran. He noted that without a military presence in the country, it is challenging to expect a regime change. The ongoing conflict, which Mikser describes as a war, has reached a certain stage where both the US and Israel have conducted strikes, and Iran has responded with counterattacks.

In discussing the military capabilities, Mikser highlighted the significant asymmetry between the US-Israel coalition and Iran. The precision strike capability of the US and Israel against Iranian leaders and military installations is impressive, while Iran retains some ability to inflict damage on countries in the region, primarily targeting American interests. The presence of US military bases across the region increases the potential for conflict.

Mikser concluded that while militarily the US and Israel are undoubtedly dominant, the effectiveness of their operations remains complex given the regional dynamics and Iran's responses. The discourse points towards an intricate and evolving military landscape, where geopolitical interests play a significant role in the decision-making processes of the involved nations.
