The weather delights: spring warmth and sun will settle in next week
The weather forecast indicates a warm spring week ahead for Lithuania with mild temperatures and some expected rain.
Lithuania is set to experience a pleasant week of weather as spring-like warmth and sunshine are expected to establish themselves. Starting Monday, the forecast predicts intermittently cloudy conditions with light rain in some areas, alongside a chance of light frost during the night due to temperatures slightly dropping to between -1 to -6 degrees Celsius. The winds are forecasted to blow from the southwest to northwest at speeds of 7-12 m/s, with gusts reaching up to 14 m/s in certain regions.
As Tuesday rolls in, night conditions will remain largely dry, though pockets of frost may occur as nighttime temperatures remain mild. The warm afternoons will see temperature highs of 2-9 degrees Celsius, particularly in southern Lithuania where it may reach up to 9 degrees. The weak winds may occasionally give way to fog, but the daytime is anticipated to be predominantly dry and warm.
Wednesday will likely bring even warmer and dry conditions, while in the early morning, a few areas may experience frost again, with lows expected between -3 and 2 degrees Celsius. Winds are predicted to pick up in strength, which will contribute to a feeling of even warmer temperatures during the day as the week's forecast demonstrates a progressive trend towards a pleasant spring atmosphere in the region.
