Did you notice? Finnish people's favorite brand extended the warranty for all cars to five years

Nissan has announced an extension of the warranty for all its new passenger cars in Finland to five years or 100,000 kilometers.

Nissan, a popular Japanese car manufacturer among Finns, has declared a significant extension of its new passenger vehicle warranty to five years or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. This announcement comes amidst a competitive warranty race among automakers, with various brands striving to offer longer warranties to attract consumers. The change is seen as a victory for customers, enhancing their confidence in car purchases and giving them more protection against potential vehicle issues.

Starting from February 1, all new customer orders in Finland will be subject to this updated warranty policy, which aims to standardize Nissan's warranty practices across different vehicle classes. Previously, Nissan's commercial vehicles already benefited from a five-year warranty (5 years/160,000 km). This adjustment not only aligns the warranty terms for passenger vehicles but also demonstrates Nissan's commitment to maintaining its competitiveness in the Finnish automotive market.

Tuukka Pernu, the brand director for Nissan in Finland, emphasized that this strategic move is designed to uphold customer loyalty and satisfaction, ultimately aiming to enhance the overall value proposition for Nissan buyers. By increasing the warranty period, Nissan is likely to foster greater consumer trust and potentially attract new customers in a market where warranty length is becoming an increasingly critical factor in purchasing decisions.
