A 26-year-old man was apprehended in Southern Roraima after allegedly trying to stab a 23-year-old in a bar incident. The confrontation began when the victim, who had recently left a farm, was at the bar and the suspect, with no apparent reason, threw a can of beer at him before attacking with a fish knife. The victim narrowly escaped injury by jumping off his motorcycle and dodging the blows directed at him.

Following the attack, the victim reported the incident to the military police, who confirmed his account through a witness. Upon arriving at the bar, police found the suspect with a group of people but did not initially locate the knife he reportedly used. Two bystanders indicated that the suspect had discarded the knife upon noticing the police's arrival. Subsequent searches in the area led to the recovery of the weapon.

Now facing a charge of attempted homicide, the suspect's actions raise concerns about public safety in the local area, highlighting the risks associated with alcohol consumption and violent altercations.
