A 66-year-old man tragically lost his life in a traffic accident in Au in the Hallertau region of Germany when his scooter veered off the road.
On Saturday, a serious traffic accident occurred in Au in the Hallertau, claiming the life of a 66-year-old man. The victim was riding his scooter between Osseltshausen and Rudertshausen when he lost control around 12:10 PM, as reported by the Moosburg police station. The scooter veered off the road into the shoulder, causing the man to fall off.
The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation, and it has been confirmed that no other vehicles or participants were involved. Bystanders who witnessed the incident found the man shortly after the fall and administered first aid until emergency services arrived. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of fire services, EMTs, and an air ambulance doctor, the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Emergency services, including the fire brigades from Rudertshausen, Osseltshausen, and Geroldshausen, along with the Moosburg police, responded quickly to the accident.
