According to reports from the Poing police, the woman was moving along Münterstraße when witnesses saw her car veering off the road during a slight left curve. The vehicle initially went uncontrollably to the right before sliding down the slope to the left and back onto the road.

Despite immediate help from bystanders who managed to extract the woman from her car and initiated resuscitation efforts, the paramedics who arrived on the scene were unable to revive her. It was noted that the elderly driver had previously been diagnosed with heart issues, which likely played a significant role in the unfortunate event. The police confirmed that no other vehicles or persons were involved in the accident.

The estimated damage to the vehicle was around 7,000 euros, and the Münterstraße was blocked for approximately three hours while police conducted their investigation. This tragic event underscores the importance of health monitoring for older drivers, especially those with a history of heart problems, to ensure safety on the roads.
