Women will have exclusive tour in the Port of Santos; see when and how to participate
A special boat tour exclusively for women at the Port of Santos will be held to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8.
To commemorate International Women's Day on March 8, the Museum of the Port of Santos is hosting a free, exclusive boat tour for women on Saturday, March 7. This initiative allows participants to experience the significant operations and strategic importance of the largest port complex in Latin America. The tour will take place along the port's canal, offering insights into its functionality and role in the region's economy.
The event is part of the special edition of the PassaPorto program, which provides guided visits to the port throughout the year. Tickets for the boat tour will be distributed directly at the museum on March 5 and 6, with a total of 60 vouchers available each day. Interested individuals must provide their full name, CPF, and email to obtain their ticket, which is limited to one per person. This thoughtful initiative not only highlights the significance of the port but also promotes women's engagement with such vital economic landmarks.
According to the Santos Port Authority, the distribution of tickets is subject to the completion of specific conditions, emphasizing the need for proper registration. The event offers a unique opportunity for women to engage in an educational yet enjoyable experience, reflecting the broader acknowledgment of women’s contributions in various sectors, including maritime and logistics, celebrating their achievements as International Women's Day approaches.
