The deadline for students in Macapá to register and re-register for the half-fare transportation benefit has been extended to March 15. This extension aims to help students in the capital secure their rights to discounted public transport, allowing them to access essential services and education without the burden of high travel costs. Registration can be completed at the Companhia de Trânsito e Transporte de Macapá (CTMac) from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

To register for the half-fare program, students must provide several documents including a school declaration, an official ID with a photo, an updated proof of address, and undergo a biometrics capture. The fees for registration are R$ 20, while the re-registration costs R$ 10. These fees and requirements are designed to ensure that only eligible students benefit from the program, thereby upholding the integrity of the discount system.
