Bodø/Glimt with historic surplus – 203 million in profit in 2025

Bodø/Glimt has announced a record profit of 203.5 million kroner for 2025, significantly exceeding their budgeted profit.

Bodø/Glimt, a Norwegian football club, has reported an unprecedented surplus of 203.5 million kroner for the year 2025, which is more than twice the initially budgeted profit of 80 million kroner. This financial success is largely attributed to the club's exceptional performance in European competitions, including reaching the semifinals of the Europa League and competing in six matches in the Champions League group stage. The income from these matches totaled an impressive 495.3 million kroner.

In addition to the income generated from European football, the club's silver medal finish in the Eliteserien league resulted in higher broadcasting revenues, contributing an additional 53.1 million kroner, surpassing their budget by 9.1 million. The year-end financial statement revealed that Bodø/Glimt had a total revenue of 808.8 million kroner, significantly exceeding the budgeted amount of 360.5 million. This financial turnaround speaks to the club's growing stature and commercial viability in international football.

As of the end of the financial year, Bodø/Glimt's own capital stood at 471.6 million kroner, marking a notable increase of 203.5 million corresponding to the year's surplus. This solid financial position positions Bodø/Glimt well for future investments in players and facilities, enhancing their competitiveness in both domestic and international arenas.
