A study on Lithuanian habits revealed an unexpected picture
A new study finds that while a significant portion of Lithuanians engage in physical activity, a large number remain inactive due to health issues and the prevalence of inactivity among older age groups.
A recent survey conducted in Lithuania has uncovered intriguing insights into the exercise habits of its population. According to the study, nearly a quarter of the respondents engage in sports or workouts 3 to 5 times a week, and another 22% participate in physical activities 1 to 2 times weekly. However, a concerning 40% of those surveyed reported never exercising at all. The research indicated that the most active participants are typically aged between 15 and 29, while the least active group falls within the 50 to 74 age demographic. Notably, individuals residing in urban areas and those with higher income levels tend to exercise more often than their rural or lower-income counterparts.
