The Estonian Foreign Ministry has issued an urgent recommendation for citizens residing in Israel to leave the country as soon as possible in light of the escalating military actions involving Israel, the United States, and Iran. The Ministry highlights that land border crossings with Egypt and Jordan are currently open, facilitating the exit process for those who wish to depart. As of now, it is believed that fewer than ten Estonian citizens are temporarily in Israel.

Estonian authorities are calling on all citizens in the Middle East to register their short-term stays through the Foreign Ministry's website or by contacting a designated email address. This proactive approach aims to ensure that the Ministry can monitor the safety and whereabouts of Estonian nationals, especially amidst the tense geopolitical situation. They encourage Estonians in Israel to stay vigilant and follow local authorities' directives.

Additionally, visitors to Israel are advised to download a mobile application named Tzofar – Red Alert, which provides real-time notifications about rocket attacks. The Ministry has also issued guidelines for what to do in the event of a rocket threat, including moving to designated shelters or secure rooms when sirens sound, and staying in a safe location for at least ten minutes after the siren stops. These measures reflect the serious nature of the current threats in the region and the importance of safety for all Estonian citizens abroad.
