The ministry is actively monitoring the situation and stands ready to assist citizens currently in Israel to ensure their safe return.

Additionally, the Foreign Ministry has advised any Latvians who are in Israel for short-term visits and require assistance getting back to Latvia to contact the Consular Department's 24-hour hotline. As tensions escalate, it is also noted that Israel and the United States have carried out military operations against Iran, further complicating the geopolitical context in the region, which could impact the safety of travelers.
