The Brazilian Army is donating an 11-ton amphibious armored vehicle to the Military Police of Joinville, Santa Catarina for tactical operations.

The Brazilian Army has decided to donate an 11-ton amphibious armored vehicle to the Military Police of Joinville, which is the most populous city in Santa Catarina. This vehicle has previously been utilized in peacekeeping missions in Haiti from 2004 to 2017, and it bears the same model that took part in operations in Rio de Janeiro in 2018. With a maximum speed of 90 km/h, it will be the first of its kind used by the Military Police in Santa Catarina. Currently, the vehicle is in Florianópolis and will be transferred to Joinville for a ceremony of donation, although the date has not yet been established.
