'Beach Boardwalk' and Sand Courts of Villa-Lobos Officially inaugurated
The Villa-Lobos Park in São Paulo officially opened a leisure complex named Orla TotalPass, featuring sandy courts and various recreational facilities.
On Saturday, the Villa-Lobos Park in the western region of São Paulo officially inaugurated a beach-themed leisure complex named Orla TotalPass, covering an area of 12,000 square meters. This newly developed space includes multiple amenities such as sand courts for various sports, green areas, food kiosks, and wellness services. The park had been in a soft opening phase for the first two months of the year, but is now fully operational with a range of activities planned to celebrate its grand opening.
The complex boasts five sand courts that cater to sports enthusiasts wanting to engage in activities like beach tennis, volleyball, and futevôlei. Furthermore, it features a beach-style boardwalk and a central arena dedicated to group classes and musical performances. To mark the occasion, the opening day included a dance class in the central arena, children's recreation activities, and a live sunset music event, with a DJ performing throughout the day to enhance the festive atmosphere.
The project was made possible through a significant investment of R$ 25 million from the concessionaire Reserva Parques, which manages Villa-Lobos Park, with naming rights held by the TotalPass gym chain. This development aims to not only provide recreational opportunities for residents but also to enhance the park's appeal as a community hub in São Paulo, encouraging more outdoor activities and social interactions among locals.
