Members of the All Progressives Congress caucus in the National Assembly representing Osun State have urged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to investigate claims of irregularities in the stateβs payroll. Their call comes after an audit report highlighted the troubling existence of approximately 15,000 ghost workers, indicating serious financial dishonesty within the state's government.
