Two caught in an avalanche in Vestland - found safe

Two Germans trapped in an avalanche in Vestland were located unharmed after contacting emergency services for assistance.

On Friday evening, two German individuals were caught in an avalanche on Vestre Rallarvegen in Ulvik, located in Vestland, Norway. The two tourists were able to free themselves from the snow while they were in communication with emergency services via telephone. According to Thomas Breivoll from the Main Rescue Centre, while the avalanche only reached up to their knees, they required assistance due to their unsettling experience in the snow.
