This win means Slavia has maintained an impressive unbeaten streak of 25 matches and remains the only team in the league this season without defeat. They currently lead the table by ten points ahead of second-placed Sparta Prague, who are set to face Ostrava on Saturday. The goals for Slavia were scored in the first half by Vasil Kušej and the league's top scorer, Tomáš Chorý, who converted a penalty kick.

The match served as a birthday celebration for Slavia's head coach Jindřich Trpišovský, who turned 50 on the day of the game. In their last duel, Slavia continued an extraordinary run against Dukla, remaining undefeated in 22 previous league matches against them, and notably, they have not lost in 11 encounters at Dukla's Juliska Stadium. Dukla started the game with a brief moment of promise, nearly capitalizing on an early corner kick; however, after that, Slavia established dominance on the field. Kušej had an opportunity that almost led to a goal but was ruled offside. Despite a solid effort from Dukla at the beginning, they succumbed to the superior performance of the league leaders, reinforcing the challenges they face in their struggle against relegation as the season progresses.
