Willi de Paula, a 27-year-old man, was tragically shot dead inside a bar in Dom Aquino, located 172 km from Cuiabá, Brazil, earlier this week. The shooting occurred in the area of Avenida Cuiabá, and the motive for the crime remains undisclosed. Security cameras captured the harrowing moments leading up to and including the shooting, showing the suspect arriving at the bar wearing a helmet and a reflective jacket.

In the footage, moments before the shooting, patrons can be seen fleeing as the suspect approaches. One of the fleeing individuals was identified as the owner of the bar, who, in a panic to escape, accidentally dropped his mobile phone but returned briefly to retrieve it. The suspect, emboldened by the chaotic scene, then directed his gunfire towards Willi, who was struck multiple times and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The suspect managed to flee the premises following the shooting, and as of now, has not been apprehended. The Military Police cordoned off the area and called in the Official and Technical Identification Expertise (Politec) to carry out the necessary forensic procedures. The investigation is currently being handled by the Civil Police, who are working to uncover the details surrounding this violent incident.
