The traditional Banana Festival is set to happen in Cubatão, São Paulo, on Saturday, attracting an expected crowd of 25,000 attendees. Organized by the Municipal Secretary of Culture, the event has become a staple of the city’s cultural calendar, offering a blend of local music, typical foods, and family-friendly activities. The festival will take place on Avenida Nações Unidas, with festivities starting at 2 PM and continuing until 10 PM.

Festival-goers can enjoy 15 stalls serving a variety of traditional foods, sweets, and beverages, all prepared by local entrepreneurs as part of the Creative Fair and community organizations. The event will also feature special decorations made from banana leaves and bunches, contributing to a festive atmosphere, and there will be designated areas for social media sharing to enhance the experience.

The musical lineup includes performances from local artists, beginning with DJ Magrão at 3 PM, followed by sertaneja singer Layandra Victoria at 4 PM.
