The Bahia State Agency for Agricultural Defense (Adab) has launched a public competition for 200 positions as agricultural fiscal agents and agricultural inspection technicians. The salaries for these positions can reach as high as R$ 7,445. The competition was initially published on January 31 of this year but was temporarily suspended to make adjustments to the job postings. The application period has now opened for candidates to apply from March 6 to March 31.

Among the available positions are roles specifically focused on animal health inspection, which requires a degree in Veterinary Medicine, and plant health inspection, which requires a degree in Agronomy. Each position requires a commitment of 40 hours of work per week. The agency is filling 40 vacancies for inspections related to animal health and 80 for plant health, demonstrating a targeted effort to enhance agricultural safety and regulatory enforcement within the region.
