On March 11 - the orienteering game "Following Independence"
A student corporation is organizing an orienteering game to celebrate the Day of Restoration of the State of Lithuania.
The VU TSPMI student corporation "RePublica" has organized an orienteering game titled "Following Independence" to actively and intellectually commemorate the Day of Restoration of the State of Lithuania. This event has become a tradition that attracts a large number of participants each year, and top-performing teams will be rewarded with prizes from sponsors. The goal of the game is to discover, understand, and celebrate freedom and independence together.
Participants will face a series of eleven questions at eleven checkpoints, all leading to a common objective of fostering a sense of community and national pride. The event encourages teamwork and quick thinking, as the most resilient and clever teams will win prizes for reaching the final checkpoint first and scoring the most points. This year's orienteering game is scheduled to take place on March 11 at noon, beginning at the monument to Adam Mickiewicz, conveniently located near St. Anne's Church.
Details regarding the exact starting location and time will be communicated to participants through the event's Facebook page and an informational email. This initiative not only marks an important national occasion but also promotes civic engagement among the youth, highlighting the importance of independence in contemporary Lithuania.
