The Jeonbuk Anti-Transmission Towers Committee held a press conference, calling for a comprehensive review and cancellation of the transmission network construction plan linked to the development of the Yongin semiconductor national industrial complex. They firmly stated that Jeonbuk should not be treated as a 'power colony' of the metropolitan area and advocated for institutionalizing the principle of energy production and consumption within the same region, abolishing long-distance transmission.
