According to her statements, the company had been attracting investors with promises of high financial yields but has since stopped making payments, leaving many without their invested funds. Echeverría emphasized the emotional and financial toll this situation has wrought on herself and others, who invested their hard-earned savings in good faith.
In her account, Echeverría shared that the investment firm in question had received over two billion pesos in deposits from investors, indicating the scale of the operation and the number of individuals affected. She expressed concern over the disappearance of the promised financial returns, stating that it has been over 18 months since the company last paid out any earnings and is currently withholding investors' money.
