President Yoon's approval rating stands at 64%, according to a recent Gallup survey, with positive evaluations largely linked to his economic and real estate policies.

According to a recent Gallup poll conducted by Hankyoreh, President Yoon's approval rating is currently at 64%, marking a slight increase of 1 percentage point from the previous survey conducted on the 13th of the month. In this survey carried out from the 24th to the 26th, 64% of respondents indicated they believe he is doing well in his role, while 26% expressed that he is not doing well, and 10% withheld their opinion. The survey reflects the sentiments of 1,000 respondents aged 18 and older across South Korea.

The positive assessment emphasizes Yoon's focus on economic issues and real estate policies, with both receiving a 17% approval rating. On the other hand, criticism is frequently directed at his real estate policy, which accounts for 15% of negative evaluations, followed closely by responses related to economic and welfare issues. The demographic breakdown shows that support for Yoon is highest among individuals aged 40 to 50, with approval ratings reaching 70%, while it is lowest among those in their 20s with only 47%.

In the political party support segment of the survey, the Democratic Party of Korea received 43% support, while the People Power Party garnered 22%. The Democratic Party saw a slight decline of 1 percentage point since the last survey, whereas the People Power Party remained unchanged. Additionally, minor parties received very low figures, with the Justice Party at 1%. The survey results reflect a notable segment of undecided voters at 28%, which may indicate a shift or potential volatility in voter preferences due to ongoing economic concerns.
