Professor Charity Aremu has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Venite University in Iloro-Ekiti, Ekiti State. She was selected from a competitive pool of 25 candidates and is recognized for her expertise in crop improvement and sustainable agriculture. Aremu previously served as the Vice-Chancellor of Landmark University in Kwara State, where she developed a strong reputation for her academic and administrative capabilities.
As the new Vice-Chancellor, Aremu has a comprehensive agenda aimed at enhancing the university's research and academic output. Her plans include implementing a blueprint that bridges academia with industry, promoting certified skill acquisition programs alongside traditional degree offerings through innovative teaching methodologies. Additionally, she is tasked with increasing student enrollment, fostering good relationships within the community, and establishing a tech-innovation hub to nurture talent.
