Professor Charity Aremu has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Venite University in Iloro-Ekiti, Ekiti State. She was selected from a competitive pool of 25 candidates and is recognized for her expertise in crop improvement and sustainable agriculture. Aremu previously served as the Vice-Chancellor of Landmark University in Kwara State, where she developed a strong reputation for her academic and administrative capabilities.

As the new Vice-Chancellor, Aremu has a comprehensive agenda aimed at enhancing the university's research and academic output. Her plans include implementing a blueprint that bridges academia with industry, promoting certified skill acquisition programs alongside traditional degree offerings through innovative teaching methodologies.
