She quickly recognized the voice of the suspect, prompting her to report the matter to local authorities. The police acted on her complaint, leading them to the specified address where the plotting individual resided, thereby enabling a rapid response to the situation. Upon arrival, police officers confronted the individual involved in the hoax; however, he attempted to flee upon realizing law enforcement was present.
