Survey: Poles Still Trust Karol Nawrocki the Most. But One Politician Is Close Behind

A recent survey indicates that Karol Nawrocki retains the highest trust among Polish politicians, with Krzysztof Bosak and Mateusz Morawiecki following closely.

A recent survey revealed that Karol Nawrocki remains the most trusted politician in Poland, maintaining a strong lead among the population. Krzysztof Bosak, the Deputy Marshal of the Sejm and leader of the National Movement, follows closely with a trust rate of 36.2%, slightly down by 1.6 points, while former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has gained some ground with a trust rate of 35.8%, a modest increase by 1.1 points. Notably, Sławomir Mentzen, another leader of the Confederation, has experienced the largest increase in trust, reaching 31.9%, marking a rise of 7.7 percentage points from previous surveys.

In addition to these leading politicians, the new leader of Polska 2050, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, holds a trust rating of 19.9%, indicating a significant portion of respondents are still hesitant about her, with 38.2% expressing distrust. Paulina Hennig-Kloska, who left Polska 2050 to form a new parliamentary club, barely garners trust from 15.5% of the respondents, with a high 40.6% indicating lack of trust. Both Pełczyńska-Nałęcz and Hennig-Kloska are relatively unknown to a notable segment of the population, further complicating their political standing.

As Poland navigates through its political landscape, the survey results underscore the shifting dynamics and the varying levels of trust among politicians. With Nawrocki's continued lead, it raises questions about what factors contribute to public confidence in political figures and how this trust might influence upcoming policies and elections. The trust levels of emerging politicians like Pełczyńska-Nałęcz and Hennig-Kloska suggest potential challenges as they strive to bolster their reputations and connect with voters in a changing environment.
