The latest opinion poll conducted by IBRiS on behalf of the Onet portal reveals intriguing shifts in trust levels among Polish politicians. This survey, which gathered responses from 1,100 adult Poles, was published on February 26. For the first time in a while, the gap in public trust between President Andrzej Duda and Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau has narrowed significantly, indicating changing sentiments among the electorate.

Currently, 48.8% of respondents trust President Duda, with 28.2% expressing strong trust and 20.6% somewhat trusting him. Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Rau follows closely with a trust level of 46.7%, where 24.6% strongly trust him and 22.1% trust him to some extent. Notably, this close race for trust levels marks a potential turning point in Polish politics, as these shifts could have implications for upcoming elections.

On the third spot is Donald Tusk, who is trusted by 41.2% of respondents, with 18.1% placing strong trust in him. This ranking reflects the dynamic and rapidly changing political landscape in Poland, and as the country approaches key political events, the trust levels of these figures could influence party strategies and voter behavior significantly. The findings highlight the importance of public perception and its role in shaping political narratives in Poland.
