The folklore group "Žeperi" is celebrating an impressive 25 years of bringing music and community together in Latvia.

The folklore group "Žeperi" recently marked its 25th anniversary during a lively concert at the Latvian Centre "Straumēni". The event showcased the group's evolution from its origins involving only children to its current state where it has grown significantly, amassing an impressive number of participants. Aija Grabuste, the group's leader, reflected on the unexpected longevity and impact of the group, noting how it has become one of the greatest gifts of her life.

Initially formed under the guidance of Grabuste, who was encouraged by figures from the Rēzekne Music School, the group has expanded its scope to include youth as well.
