The Brazilian federal government has initiated payments of R$ 1,000 to students in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years of high school as part of the Pé-de-Meia program starting on February 26, 2025. This financial incentive aims to support high school students by providing them with R$ 200 monthly, an additional R$ 1,000 for each completed year, and an extra R$ 200 for participating in the National High School Examination (Enem). The payments will continue until March 5, following an official schedule released by the government.
