Adelle Ader sets an Estonian record at the Virtual Indoor Rowing World Championships
Adelle Ader set a new Estonian record in the women's 19 to 29 age category for the 1000-meter distance at the Virtual Indoor Rowing World Championships.
At the recent Virtual Indoor Rowing World Championships, Adelle Ader achieved a remarkable feat by setting a new Estonian record for women aged 19 to 29 in the 1000-meter race, finishing with a time of 3:10.7. This record, which has just been confirmed in the Concept2 Estonia ranking, surpasses the previous record held by Kaisa Pajusalu from 2010 by 0.9 seconds. Ader's performance not only highlights her individual athletic prowess but also raises the profile of Estonian rowing on a global stage.
Ader gained recognition in the rowing community earlier this year during the Alfa Indoor Rowing Competition, where she triumphed with a time of 3:11.7. Aside from her rowing accomplishments, she is a personal trainer at Crossfit Tallinn and holds a weightlifting coaching qualification. Ader described her life as being deeply intertwined with sports, having engaged in various activities including swimming, athletics, tennis, dancing, horseback riding, cycling, and running. With over eight years of strength training experience and a dedicated focus on weightlifting over the past three years, it's clear that her extensive background contributes to her success in rowing.
The Virtual Indoor Rowing World Championships will continue into the weekend with final races, providing Ader with another opportunity to challenge her newly established record. Ader's ongoing journey in the competition emphasizes not just her athletic talent but also her commitment to continuously improve and break barriers in her sport.
