Eugenijus Sabutis, a member of the Jonava district municipality council, is facing serious legal allegations following an investigation led by the Organized Crime and Corruption Investigation Division of the Kaunas District Prosecutor's Office. The investigation found that during the years 2019 to 2020, Sabutis allegedly falsified 18 expense reports, submitting false information regarding expenses for transport and telecommunication related to his activities as a council member.
