The winners of the national film award 'Lielais Kristaps' will be selected by an international jury composed of respected professionals from the film and audiovisual industry in Finland, Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania.

Their evaluation process will take place between the announcement of nominations and the awards ceremony on March 1 in Riga's Congress House.
Among the jury members is Ilka Matila from Finland, a veteran in the cinema and media field with over 35 years of international experience. Matila has produced 28 feature films and many documentaries and television series, significantly contributing to Nordic and Baltic cinema. The presence of experienced jurors underscores the regional significance of the awards and the dedication to highlighting exemplary work in the film industry across these countries, which share cultural ties and similar cinematic challenges.
