The event will include screenings of nominated films in cinemas and cultural spaces across Riga, as well as several special premieres and Q&A sessions with directors. Notably, on March 1, the award ceremony will culminate the week, where viewers can catch the live broadcast on LTV1 and the LSM.lv portal.
The week will kick off with unique screenings featuring the participation of filmmakers. On February 23, the film 'Dark Blue Gospel' will be screened at the 'Ola Foundation' cultural space, followed by a discussion with director Oskars Rupenheits. Meanwhile, at the Żanis Lipkes Memorial, attendees can watch the film 'Iron' and engage in a conversation with director Vitaliy Manski, offering insight into the filmmaking process and thematic context of the film. Additional screenings at various locations will give audiences a chance to deepen their understanding of each work presented.
