Notably, 38% of respondents reported using AI to gain meal inspiration, while 30% turn to technology to creatively use leftovers. Furthermore, a significant 76% acknowledged that technology reduces the mental load associated with preparing meals, suggesting an evolution from viewing these tools as mere novelties to considering them essential components in the kitchen.

This growing reliance on cooking technology is also driven by personal challenges faced by many. The survey noted that 60% of Brits encounter difficulties at least once a week when deciding what to cook, and a staggering 20% face this challenge daily. As individuals seek solutions to ease the cooking process, it is evident that technology, particularly AI, is becoming an integral part of the modern cooking experience, shaping how meals are planned and prepared across the nation.
