The Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (OAB) reports that nearly one thousand individuals have fallen victim to this scheme. The con artists use various communication techniques, including advanced telephonic deceptions, to manipulate clients who are currently involved in ongoing legal proceedings.

Rivelino Amaral, the director of Prerrogativas at OAB-ES, highlighted the alarming capabilities of these criminals, as they can construct entire sentences using only a few phrases spoken by the actual legal professionals.
