In an effort to enhance administrative effectiveness, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh has ordered surprise inspections of the attendance of officials and employees at key government offices, including Vellabh Bhawan, Vindhyachal, and Satpura Bhawan. This directive is aimed at ensuring that all employees are present and accounted for during working hours, reinforcing a commitment to good governance and accountability in public service.
Despite the CM and Chief Secretary being out of Bhopal, the administrative machinery remains vigilant, indicating a strong emphasis on maintaining operational integrity in government operations. The General Administration Department (GAD) has formed special teams tasked with collecting data on the attendance and absenteeism of employees. The directive underscores the importance placed on punctuality and diligence, especially during the hours from 10 AM to 6 PM, when mandatory attendance is enforced in major offices in the capital.
In his communication, the Chief Minister has delivered a clear message that any negligence in public welfare schemes and matters related to the public will not be tolerated. Stringent administrative actions will be taken against those found absent without valid reasons during duty hours, particularly targeting those employees who are present in the office but not at their assigned seats. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency and accountability of government services, ultimately benefiting the public.
