In a significant move for coastal development, the Province of Buenos Aires has transferred rights to 50 hectares of waterfront land to the San Isidro municipality. This historic agreement was announced by Mayor Ramón Lanús and Governor Axel Kicillof during an event held at the banks of the Río de la Plata. The initiative seeks to enhance the accessibility of the coastal area for the local community and visitors, emphasizing the creation of public spaces where people can enjoy the natural surroundings.

The allocation includes 15 parcels of land totaling approximately 500,000 square meters, covering the coastline from Paraná to Del Barco Centenera and extending south towards the port boundary. This regulation aims to address and manage any informal occupations while promoting organized usage of the waterfront. The local administration is focused on transforming the area into a more integrated and user-friendly space that accommodates both residents and tourists.
