The city of Conceição do Jacuípe has published a decree regulating public transportation for university students and vocational course students for the 2026 school year.
The Conceição do Jacuípe City Hall, located 27 km from Feira de Santana, has issued a decree that sets regulations for public school transportation aimed at university and vocational course students for the academic year. This initiative aims to provide free transportation to eligible students who have completed their registration or updated their registration at the Municipal Education Department.
Starting from March 2, 2026, and continuing until December 14, 2026, the public transportation service will be available for students. The decree, published on Tuesday, specifies that the benefit will only be provided for the time slots indicated during the registration process, ensuring alignment with the students' respective academic schedules and institutions.
The bus service will operate with specific departure times for each academic shift: morning at 6:00 AM, afternoon at 12:50 PM, and evening at 5:50 PM. Emphasis has been placed on the importance of organizing transportation effectively to accommodate the needs of students and prevent overcrowding, thereby enhancing access to education in the region.
