Fuvest opens on Monday registration for simulation with a new format for the 1st phase

Fuvest will begin registrations on Monday for a simulated test of the first phase of the 2027 Vestibular, featuring a new format and reduced questions.

Fuvest, the foundation responsible for the entrance exam to the University of São Paulo, will open registrations for its simulated test at noon on Monday, February 2nd. The simulation will take place on April 26th, following a new exam format that consists of 80 multiple-choice questions, which is ten questions fewer than the previous format, and will last for five hours. Registrations will be accepted until March 31st, with an entry fee of R$ 100. The simulation will be conducted in a total of 11 cities across São Paulo state.

The cities included in the simulation are Bauru, Campinas, Piracicaba, Presidente Prudente, Ribeirão Preto, Santo André, São Carlos, São José do Rio Preto, São José dos Campos, São Paulo, and Sorocaba. The questions for the simulation are designed to be unique, crafted by the committees responsible for the actual vestibular exam, thus ensuring a real test-like experience for students. The content will adhere to the program established for the 2027 exam, maintaining the same requirements as the previous year, including a list of mandatory works.

Fuvest has also announced plans for a second simulation later in the year, scheduled for July 26th. Last year's edition of Fuvest 2026 already introduced some changes, which have set the tone for future exams. This readiness to adapt suggests a proactive approach to meet educational needs and ensure that students are well-prepared for the competitive entrance process to higher education in Brazil.
