A new bilingual school in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Barracas has opened, offering innovative educational programs for local students.

The newly inaugurated Escuela Estación Buenos Aires is located in the Barracas neighborhood, which has seen substantial growth in recent years, now housing over 10,000 residents. This bilingual primary and secondary school features cutting-edge facilities, including 17 classrooms, a multipurpose hall, a cafeteria, and libraries spread over 3,000 square meters. Designed to cater to the educational needs of over 500 children, the school aims to equip students with digital skills necessary for the future job market.

As of the 2026 school year, the academy has launched its full primary grades along with the first three years of the secondary school curriculum, anticipating an enrollment of up to 400 students initially, with plans to grow to 530 by 2028 as the school reaches its full capacity. The school's bilingual, digital, and inclusive educational model emphasizes a curriculum that integrates technology and language acquisition, particularly focusing on information technology and English language skills in its secondary education.

This initiative marks a significant milestone for the Barracas community, highlighting the commitment to improving educational infrastructure and opportunities in a rapidly developing area. By collaborating with Google Reference School, the Escuela Estación Buenos Aires aims to provide an innovative learning environment that prepares students for future challenges in a globalized world, setting an example for similar initiatives across Argentina and beyond.
