Two businessmen were arrested on Wednesday, October 25th, in an operation conducted by the Civil Police of Piauí, with support from the Civil Police of Pernambuco. The suspects, identified only by their initials J. R. G. and J. de L. P., were allegedly running companies involved in fraudulent vehicle financing sales. One of the arrests took place in the East Zone of Teresina, while the other occurred in Pernambuco.

The police operation not only led to the capture of the suspects but also enforced search and seizure warrants targeting their businesses, effectively suspending their commercial activities pending further investigation.
