Despite being ranked 1050th in the world ranking, Dietrich has made a name for himself in college tennis leagues and holds a commendable second position in the latest NCAA rankings. During the match, Glinka faced pressure as Dietrich had two break points in the third game of the first set. However, Glinka managed to fend them off and seized a break of serve in the sixth game. In the second set, he again showcased his resilience by saving another break point in the fourth game before securing a decisive break in the ninth game. The match lasted one hour and 17 minutes, during which Glinka demonstrated impressive serving consistency and an effective offensive strategy, achieving 89 percent of his first serve points won while also accumulating 19 winners, albeit with 15 unforced errors.
