President of Alesp honors Valdemar, guarantor of his campaign to be vice of Tarcísio
Valdemar Costa Neto is set to receive a prestigious honor from the São Paulo Legislative Assembly in recognition of his political contributions and support for André do Prado's vice-presidential candidacy.
On Friday, October 27th, Valdemar Costa Neto, the national president of the PL party, will be honored in the São Paulo Legislative Assembly (Alesp) with the prestigious Colar de Honra ao Mérito, which is among the highest recognitions in the São Paulo legislature. This event, initiated by Alesp's president André do Prado, will take place in the plenary named after Juscelino Kubitschek at 10 AM.
Valdemar Costa Neto's recognition comes at a significant time as he has been a crucial supporter of André do Prado’s campaign to serve as the vice president alongside Governor Tarcísio de Freitas in the upcoming elections. Having previously served six terms in the Chamber of Deputies until 2013, Valdemar has been leading the PL since 2020 and has established himself as a key figure in contemporary Brazilian politics.
André do Prado stated that the honoring of Valdemar is a tribute to his extensive political journey and contributions to the state. This recognition may solidify their political alliance as they campaign together, enhancing their visibility among voters in the lead-up to the elections, and it underscores the significance of party loyalty and support in Brazilian electoral politics.
