Revolutionary Army Demands Investigation in Support of Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand

In response to the legal case against Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, members of the Kranti Sena staged a protest in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, accusing the case of being a political conspiracy.

In Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, a wave of protests erupted led by the Hindu organization Kranti Sena against the legal case filed against Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati. Demonstrators marched through the streets, ultimately reaching the district collector's office where they submitted a memorandum to the state government. The protesters chanted slogans and labeled the case as fraudulent, suggesting it was part of a political conspiracy against the revered figure. They directed scathing remarks toward Ashutosh Pandey alias Ashwani, the individual who filed the allegations against Avimukteshwaranand.

Sharad Kapoor, the divisional president of Kranti Sena, voiced strong support for Avimukteshwaranand, insisting that the charges were baseless and accusing the government of trying to silence a spiritually significant leader. He criticized the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party for betraying the Sant community, stating that while the party came to power under the banner of Hindutva, it now disrespects saints who advocate for Hindutva values.

Kapoor further claimed that Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand has been a long-time advocate for declaring the cow as the national mother and for imposing a ban on cow slaughter. He believes that the government is alarmed by the Shankaracharya's demands, resorting to using a 'crafty criminal' to undermine his influence and undermine the advocacy for Hindu values that he represents.
